Electrofur

"Any who cross my path has a sudden, electrifyingly fatal experience."

Long before the silence of the Crystal City, when the world still resonated with the hustle of human activity, animals were unwitting test subjects in a myriad of experiments. From the shadows of that era emerged Electrofur, a descendent of the literal lab rats that defied the odds and survived. In the absence of humans, the legacy of oppression persisted, though many creatures had long forgotten the origins of their altered genes.

Electrofur, distinguished from his fellow creatures by a peculiar ability, could generate a static shock by simply rubbing his coat. This seemingly innocuous trait became a formidable defense mechanism, rendering anyone foolish enough to lay a hand on him violently electrocuted. His power granted him an almost impenetrable shield, a living deterrent to those who dared to challenge him.

Yet, this extraordinary ability came at a cost. The humans, in their experiments, had embedded a variety of psychological testing, leaving a generational legacy of addiction in Electrofur’s DNA. Inherited from his ancestors, a compulsion for amphetamines lingered, a double-edged sword that both fueled and threatened his control over his electrifying power.

Electrofur, a creature of paradoxes, normally maintains mastery over his lethal abilities. However, the looming specter of withdrawal, a consequence of his inherited addiction, presents a constant struggle. When unable to satisfy his fix, the withdrawals send him into a frenzy, causing him to lose control of his power and leaving a wake of destruction in his path.

His journey is a delicate balance between power and vulnerability, survival and addiction. Electrofur’s story is a reminder of the enduring consequences of experimentation, as he navigates a world that bears the scars of a forgotten era, haunted by the genetic legacy left by those who once sought to play with the very fabric of life.
